Using a brief-solution focused mode of practice, it is my job to quickly and accurately assess your needs, develop and execute a course of treatment for those needs and assist your life/family system to evolve.

Jennifer M. Patterson MS, LPC, LICDC, is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Dayton. She has worked in a variety of clinical counseling settings over the past 10 years, including chemical dependency treatment facilities, dual diagnosis programs, and the juvenile prison system.

I take an integrative approach to counseling, meaning I intermingle techniques from different counseling methods depending upon the needs of the client in the moment. Connecting genuinely with the client is key in order for progress to be made through therapy.

  • Chemically Dependent Family Systems
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Women’s Issues
